Libidomania (1979)

"They say, love is a many splendored thing... and the fact of the matter has never been proven more entertainingly than in Libido Mania. Bruno Mattei, Italy's acclaimed master of the obscene, promises "sexual aberrations" galore and delivers them in explicit detail in this ultra-rare mondo shocker, slapping his unprepared audience with an onslaught of such colorful perversities that even the mere act of listing them gave the film its notorious reputation. Deservedly so – Libido Mania is pure rock’n’roll! Beware, however: You might see your sex partner in a different light afterwards...

Mondo Bizarro (1966)

A faux travelogue that mixes documentary and mockumentary footage. The camera looks through a one-way glass into the women's dressing room at a lingerie shop, visits a Kyoto massage parlor, goes inside the mailroom at Frederick's of Hollywood, watches an Australian who sticks nails through his skin and eats glass, checks out the art and peace scene in Los Angeles, takes in Easter week with vacationing college students on Balboa Island, observes a German audience enjoying a play about Nazi sadism, and, with the help of powerful military lenses, spies on a Lebanese white-slavery auction. Shocking Asia (1976)

This mondo film depicts graphic scenes from the Asian continent. We witness a mass piercing in India and cremated remains of human bodies dumped into the Ganges river in clear sight of bathers. The camera then shows Japanese sex clubs which reenact bizarre sexual rituals and S&M fantasies. There is also a very graphic sex change operation in Singapore. There is also midget and female wrestling featured to round out the fun.

Naked Africa (1957)

Although supposedly a 'serious' documentary the filmakers went out of their way to film the weird and wicked safari hunts, manhood initiation ceremonies, hot coal walkers, frenzied religious ceremonies where the participants pierce their bodies and so on. This film so perfectly foreshadowed the 1960's mondo craze that the distributors later retitled and re-released it as "Mondo Africana".

Acid Delirium of the Senses (1968)

Beautiful Italian people doing lots of drugs, whilst gangsters lurk in the shadows. I could have enjoyed this more if it weren't for the ridiculous Mondo-Faux Doc narrative function.... that stuff just killed all the momentum.
However, as far as background viewing goes, the second half is colourful and appropriately disorientating.
